Imran Karim, Vice Chairman of Confidence Group, has been awarded the prestigious title of Commercially Important Person (CIP) for 2021 by the Ministry of Industries. This recognition acknowledges his remarkable contributions to the business sector, particularly in the large industrial manufacturing company category, and his efforts in boosting national income.

The award ceremony, held at InterContinental Dhaka, was attended by esteemed guests including Agriculture Minister Abdur Razzaque, Industries Minister Nurul Majid Mahmud Humayun, and State Minister for Industries Kamal Ahmed Majumder. In his address, Agriculture Minister Abdur Razzaque praised Imran Karim's entrepreneurial skills and emphasized the significance of recognizing individuals who have made significant contributions to the country's economic development. Industries Minister, Nurul Majid Mahmud Humayun, State Minister for Industries Kamal Ahmed Majumder, Cabinet Secretary Md Mahbub Hossain, and FBCCI President Md Jashim Uddin, were also present at the ceremony as special guests.
